About this Event
Educator Appreciation Night
Sunday, May 4 |
4–6 PM | Free & Drop-In
Have you ever imagined bringing a planetarium to your students? Now you can.
Join us at Carlton Observatory for an evening celebrating the educators in our community. Drop in anytime between 4 and 6 PM to experience our new mobile planetarium firsthand — an immersive, transportable dome that can come directly to your school and bring learning to life across a wide range of subjects, from astronomy and earth science to history, literature, and the arts.
We're actively partnering with educators to get this incredible tool into classrooms and school events, and we want you to see it for yourself before anyone else. Come explore what's possible, talk with our team about how we can support your students, and share your ideas for how the mobile planetarium could work in your curriculum.
Light refreshments and adult beverages will be provided. This event is completely free — and so is spreading the word to your fellow educators!
