The progression of Alzheimer's and other dementias inevitably results in sometimes challenging changes in communication skills and styles. Join us as we learn dementia-aware techniques and ways to adapt our own communication to meet the needs of our loved ones and help to make interactions positive and meaningful.
Stephanie serves as the Memory Care Director at Vitalia Westlake and brings over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. She has completed extensive specialized training, including a favorite session with Dr. Tam Cummings. Stephanie studied Medical Administration and Marketing at Chancellor University and is guided by the six C’s of dementia care: Care, Compassion, Courage, Commitment, Competence, and Communication. She considers it a privilege to support individuals and families through their dementia journey. Passionate about lifelong learning, Stephanie remains dedicated to advancing her knowledge and sharing best practices in dementia care.
