Burke County Public Schools, Western Piedmont Community College, Appalachian State University and Work in Burke invite you to a free education career expo on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, at 4:45 p.m. at Patton High School. It includes a free hot dog supper and door prizes. The event is for middle school, high school and college students interested in a career in the classroom, as well as adults with high school diplomas, two-year degrees or four-year degrees looking for any variety of positions in the classroom or school support services. Programming starts at 5:30 p.m. with a keynote speaker and teacher panel, followed by breakout sessions and the opportunity to apply for jobs on the spot.
