Join us for a practical and informative workshop at at Joc Dwyer’s farm in Bindoon.
This workshop will:
- Explain the background to our eDNA Landcare Australia project
- Outline how eDNA sampling was undertaken at the local farms participating in the project
- Present summarised eDNA results from these farms and explore what they mean
- Explain how eDNA sampling works and why it matters
- Provide tips, tricks and limitations of eDNA sampling, plus in-field use of demonstration sampling equipment
- Test a draft grower management / habitat strategy for real-world settings
You'll hear from:
- Dr Adam Canning, James Cook University Senior Research Officer
- Curtin University, Faculty of Science and Engineering eDNA Frontiers
- Craig Pensini, RegenWA project coordinator

Event Logistics:

Where: Bindoon Ranges Farm - 71 Toy Road Bindoon (follow the RegenWA events signs)

Farmers, land managers, agronomists, consultants and anyone curious about the on-farm application of environmental DNA (eDNA) and integrating eDNA outcomes into a farm / landscape management plan.
What you need to bring:
- Hat, water bottle, keep-cup, notebook
- Sturdy shoes for the farm site visit
- Questions and curiosity!
