🎄 The Nutcracker 2025 Auditions
Presented by Oklahoma Dance Center and Oklahoma Youth Ballet
We invite dancers of all levels to audition for our 2025 production of The Edmond's Nutcracker! This beloved holiday tradition offers an incredible opportunity for young dancers to grow artistically, gain valuable stage experience, and perform alongside seasoned professionals in a professionally produced ballet.
Whether you're dreaming of dancing as a Snowflake, Soldier, or Sugar Plum Fairy, this production brings together the magic of Tchaikovsky’s score, exquisite costumes, and world-class choreography to create a memorable experience for performers and audiences alike.

🕒 Audition Schedule
Ages 4–8: 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Ages 9–12: 2:00 PM – 2:55 PM
Ages 13 & Up: 3:00 PM – 3:55 PM
Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to check in and warm up.
🌐 Online Auditions
If you are unable to attend in person, virtual auditions are available upon request. Please contact us for instructions on how to submit your materials.
🩰 Eligibility & Requirements
-Dancers ages 4 and up are invited to audition.
-All skill levels are welcome.
-Previous ballet training is strongly recommended for those interested in soloist or principal roles.
-Dancers auditioning on pointe should bring their pointe shoes and be prepared to demonstrate pointework as part of the audition.
👚 What to Wear & Bring
-Proper ballet attire is required: leotard, tights, and ballet slippers.
-Hair should be secured neatly in a bun.
-Bring pointe shoes if applicable.
-A completed registration form is required. Forms will be available on site, but pre-registration is highly encouraged to reserve your spot.
