Edinburgh Photographic Society New Year Exhibitions

Based centrally in Edinburgh’s New Town, Edinburgh Photographic Society (EPS) is one of the oldest photographic societies in the world, dating back to 1861. 68 Great King Street, has been our home for almost 70 years. We host several exhibitions each year including the prestigious Edinburgh International Exhibition of Photography – the 160th took place in August 2024.

Now, following the success of our 3rd Digital International Salon we'd like to invite you to come and see four fabulous exhibitions of photography.

We will display of the award-winning digital images from the 3rd Digital International Salon in a 13-minute presentation alongside around 110 prints from the London Salon – this is the only location this touring exhibition can be seen in Scotland. You will also be able to explore an exhibition from the Royal Photographic Society Creative Eye group and also see 30 images from Dublin Camera Club.

We are open over the holidays and two weekends in January. Admission is free, but, donations are accepted if you wish to make one. If you are interested in photography, drop in and we hope you enjoy the exhibitions.

We open our doors at 11am and are open until 3pm. Please come during those times and give yourself at least an hour to view all the images.
