Join edible MAINE on Thursday, July 23, for a summer evening at Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture & the Environment in Freeport as we celebrate Issue No. 37, The Art of the Meal.
This cocktail-style gathering will bring together readers, contributors, partners, advertisers, and friends of edible MAINE for an evening of light bites, drinks, conversation, and celebration. Come pick up a copy of the summer issue, meet some of the people behind the stories, and raise a glass to Maine’s food and drink community.
This summer’s issue loosely follows the theme of art and music, with stories that move through kitchens, bars, farms, fisheries, studios, stages, and the creative places in between. It is an issue about the people who make food memorable, drinks meaningful, and Maine’s table worth returning to again and again.
We are especially pleased to gather at Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture & the Environment, a farm-based education, research, and visitor center set on conserved coastal farmland along Casco Bay in Freeport. It is a setting that reflects so much of what edible MAINE exists to celebrate: food, land, water, community, and the people working to care for all of it.
The evening is presented with support from Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture & the Environment and Bow Street Beverage.
