Cost: $15 in-person ticketInterested in growing your own food but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to help you successfully grow vegetables and herbs in North Texas—whether you garden in the ground, raised beds, or containers.
Collin County Master Gardeners will cover the basics of edible gardening, including:
- Choosing the right plants for our climate
- Soil preparation and bed setup
- Watering, fertilizing, and seasonal care
- Common challenges and how to avoid them
This workshop is ideal for new gardeners or anyone looking for a refresher on edible gardening fundamentals.
