Edible & Medicinal Plants of Boulder County is a guided workshop on the wild and wonderful weeds growing all around us. You'll learn which plants you can eat, juice, turn into medicine or fiber, and which ones need to be avoided. This is the kind of knowledge that changes how you see every walk you take for the rest of your life.
About Brigitte Mars:
Brigitte Mars is an herbalist and nutritional consultant with over fifty years of experience. She has taught Herbal Medicine at Naropa University for over forty years and is a founding and professional member of the American Herbalist Guild. She has shared her knowledge at Omega Institute, Esalen, Kripalu, Sivananda Yoga Ashram, the Mayo Clinic, Burning Man, and beyond. She leads herb walks to identify edible and medicinal plants worldwide, hosts a weekly radio show called Naturally, and serves as a psychedelic sitter and end-of-life doula.
Brigitte is the author of many books including The Natural First Aid Handbook, Dandelion Medicine, Nettle Power, The Desktop Guide to Herbal Medicine, Beauty by Nature, Healing Herbal Teas, and many more. Her latest project is a plant identification phone app called IPlant. She is also featured in Gaia TV's series Psychedelica Science.
