WELCOME to Edge4Vets at NY Airports!

You can use the workshop to prepare you for any industry - and we can connect you to hiring reps at a broad assortment of company partners - but this Oct 25 session will focus on aviation.

Our Free in-person workshop will help you translate your military strengths into "tools" for success, then we'll connect you to decision-makers at our aviation partner companies and organizations at JFK and LGA to pursue job opportunities that can lead to a career in aviation.

Join us Friday, October 25 from 9:30am to 3pm - in partnership with the NYC Dept of Veterans' Services and the NY aviation industry, led by the JFK Cargo Association and several companies in particular, including ASAK Solutions and others.

The workshop will be conducted by the Human Resiliency Institute at Fordham University in the Gabelli School of Business and will be held at Vaughn College, 86-01 23RD AVE, FLUSHING, NEW YORK 11369, which is across from LGA. Register today!

THREE WAYS Edge4Vets provides you with "in person" support:

1. On Oct 25 we'll introduce you to aviation business leaders and HR reps (decision makers from our aviation partners) who will work with you in small-groups. They'll help you identify your strengths from the military, including Values and Skills as we teach you how to translate your military strengths for civilian success - and get you started on creating a personal PLAN4SUCCESS for an "edge" to get hired.

2. Following the workshop we'll give you access to our Edge4Vets online course for those who wish to take their strengths-translation preparation from the workshop to the next level. Through a series of short videos and exercises, the online course will guide you to refine your PLAN and put it into final form before you submit it to earn your Edge4Vets Certificate.

3. Also, we'll give you a list of the HR reps from our partner companies - and connect you to our community partners, such as Council for Aviation Opportunity for follow up support. You'll be able to reach out to them for help to MATCH your skills and interests from your PLAN4SUCCESS to line up interviews.

All of this is designed to put you on a pathway to success in civilian life - with a focus on aviation.
