In Spring, new life bursts forth from the stoic rot of Winter. We gather strength from the inevitable change happening before our eyes, and our gaze sets on living more deliciously in the coming seasons. We have arrived, we are fortified, we are revived.
Times are changing. Time is changing.
Right now, I’m transitioning away from my 3+ year focus on conducting death awareness meditation rituals – It's been a little death of a little death. I want you to come with me as I move toward rituals that strengthen our collective energy, our will, while honoring the temporal nature of our experience.
The evening will begin with a solo performance including new songs I’ve been writing – you’ll be the first to hear them, all stripped down without live drums. We’ll end the evening with a verdant new take on Nox Obscura, the musical mortality ritual I first gave to us this past Autumn. Argent & Sable will be there, as will of course my cello, my voice, and yours. We'll end the evening with a group dialogue to set empowered intentions and complete the ritual.
Out of the obscurity of night comes the morning star.
