EDEN, de son vrai nom Jonathon Ng, est un artiste, producteur et multi-instrumentiste originaire de Dublin. Dès ses premiers EP autoproduits End Credits (2015) et i think you think too much of me (2016), il cumule près d’un milliard de streams et attire l’attention par son approche singulière qui mêle indie et pop alternative, portée par des textures atmosphériques, des beats glitchés et des voix superposées. Ses compositions, où s’entrelacent thématiques d’identité, de santé mentale et d’isolement, l’imposent rapidement comme une figure à part de la nouvelle génération.
Après des projets salués comme vertigo (2018), no future (2020) et ICYMI (2022), son prochain opus Dark (été 2025) ouvre un nouveau chapitre plus lumineux et optimiste, tout en conservant cette écriture sensorielle et émotive qui fait sa force.

EDEN is een artiest die traditionele genregrenzen doorbreekt en elektronische, indie- en alternatieve elementen combineert tot een zeer persoonlijk geluidslandschap. De artiest kwam halverwege de jaren 2010 uit de digitale underground en kreeg voor het eerst bekendheid met de zelf uitgebrachte EP’s ‘End Credits’ uit 2015 en ‘i think you think too much of me’ van een jaar later, die samen bijna een miljard streams wereldwijd bereikten en hem massale populariteit in de scene opleverden.
Zijn muziek, die wordt gekenmerkt door sfeervolle texturen, glitchy beats en gelaagde zang, verkent vaak thema’s als identiteit, geestelijke gezondheid en de complexiteit van het moderne leven. Terwijl hij zich blijft ontwikkelen, blijft EDEN een unieke kracht in de hedendaagse muziek, die luisteraars uitdaagt om zich op een dieper, emotioneler niveau met zijn kunst bezig te houden, met zijn nieuwste project ‘Dark’ dat deze zomer verscheen.
