EDCM Forum and Networking Event

• Presentation and discussion with DECD Comissioner Michael Duguay and the Director of the Office of Business Development, Jim Nimon. Topics will include DECD plans and programs for the upcoming year, Opportunity Zones, Dirigo Incentives and updates on other programs.
• Presentation and discussion by staff from the Maine Connectivity Authority. Maine Connectivity Authority staff will provide a deep look into the state of comprehensive connectivity throughout Maine. The presentation will focus on the impact in public funds and from private investments to establish connectivity to over 135,000 businesses and homes in Maine, and what lies ahead as expanded infrastructure results in opportunities in mobile connectivity, last-mile adoption, digital readiness, and middle mile expansion.
• Also, EDCM will discuss and seek input on the upcoming Strategic Plan.

Sessions will be structured in a workshop setting, encouraging questions and discussion.
