For our final feature we present a movie that tells a story so strange it must be true! Directed by auteur Tim Burton, Ed Wood tells the life story of Edward D. Wood Jr., the infamous Hollywood filmmaker known for crossdressing, micro-budget horror, and pleading for tolerance and acceptance through his art. Starring Johnny Depp as Ed Wood, Martine Landau as his friend and collaborator Bela Lugosi, Sarah Jessica Parker as songwriter Delores Fuller, Lisa Marie as goth icon Vampira, and Bill Murray as gay cabaret legend John “Bunny” Breckinridge, Ed Wood dives deep into the gritty underbelly of showbiz and finds a magical place full of humanity, eccentricity, and eternal optimism.
