About Ed: Ed Towns has a real love and passion for comedy. Throughout his life, he's always admired true professionals with a gift for invoking their ideas to a crowd through humor. This was never a reality for Ed until his high school english teacher, comedian and mentor Bill Gorgo opened his eyes during a class about stand-up comedy. It took several years but Ed's courage finally came to the forefront and he hit the stage for the first time and instantly fell in love. Now Ed entertains and makes people laugh with his cynically honest views on relationships, current events and his family. Nothing is off limits as audiences get a peak into Ed's life and all the hilarity it ensues. Ed has opened for the likes of Chris Redd (SNL) Felonius Munk ( ABC For Life) and Josh Johnson (The Daily Show). Ed now is a producer of Comedians You Should Know, a 15 year staple in the Chicago Comedy scene as well as Blackout diaries which can be heard on Patton Oswald’s podcast network.

About Brandon: Brandon Kieffer is a Chicago based stand-up comedian, originally from the swamps Georgia. He has performed at the iconic Chicago Theater opening for Tony Hinchcliffe, he is one of the top Roast Battle comedians in Chicago and previously was the warm up comedian for the Paula Deen Cooking show. Kieffer’s candid style of comedy combines stories and jokes that are somewhat crass, but always honest. Recently he released his first half hour special on Youtube, called “Possum”, which is still gaining traction.

The Drop Comedy Club is located on Level B inside of The Aloft Hotel. Free Parking is typically offered in the Aloft Hotel parking garage on levels 4 or 5. (Push the button at the gate to let hotel staff know you are attending the show.) The Drop Comedy Club is located on Level B inside of The Aloft Hotel.

If you have purchased tickets separately, but are coming as a group, please send a text to 574-222-2639 and ask to have all ticket orders in your party seated together. Adjustments to seating cannot be guaranteed.

F ood & Beverages available at WXYZ Bar on Level 1. All food and beverages can be brought down to the show. WXYZ offers a full food menu and full-liquor bar including a number of options such as buckets of beer, pre-mixed drinks in a can, or bottles of wine to reduce the need to make multiple trips to the bar during the show. Guests may also purchase more than one drink per trip to the bar. *There is not currently bar service inside of the show room, but it continues to be a feature we hope to be able to add in the future.
