Join us for the first ecstatic dance of the season. We have special guest Christine Awakened Bear who will open us up with a cacao ceremony and then Chana K Freedom will play some awesome tunes to enjoy and release.

Ecstatic dance offers a space for people to let go of inhibitions, connect with themselves and others, and experience the joy of movement in its purest form. It can be a deeply transformative and liberating practice for those who engage with it regularly.*

About Cacao:
We will gather together in a circle to come in to resonance with the highest possible frequency with the support of all allies: The space, each other, sound and cacao (for those who wish to partake - you do not need too. It can simply be a supportive ally for those feeling the call). Cacao is a plant medicine and the Mayan people have been the wisdom keepers of it's gift for millenia. More teachings are coming to light as we mature in to the age of awakening. The cacao medicine is coming to us to help us open our hearts after many years of excess sufferings for being on earth. Is it the plant of love, where chocolate comes from. It's full of antioxidants and is a super food as its a whole food. It is not for everyone and therefore we invite you to listen and honour your own feelings around it.
A little bit about your hosts:
Chana is a free spirit, artist and lover of life. She has been dancing for over 20 years and facilitating Ecstatic Dance journeys since 2021. She believes in the medicinal healing process of dance and brings this understanding and magic to her events.
She curates a special playlist and invites those present to go on a deep journey.
Chana loves people and connecting deeply and authentically.
She believes that love is the highest vibration and feels like it can heal the world.
For the past 6 years she has been doing outreach work with the homeless population.
She is passionate about supporting those who are dealing with mental health struggles, addictions and homelessness.
Christine is a ceremonialist; holding sacred spaces of all kinds from breakin' (break dancing) circles, women's circles, song circles, cacao ceremony and other plant medicines ceremonies for over 25 years. In the Mayan tradition she is supported by the energy of Toj, which is the sacred space holder as well as the one who offers payment for all humans who are blessed to walk on this great Mother Earth. This is her service in this lifetime. She offers opportunities for beings to reconnect to their eternal truth as well as their embodied connection to all life. She is deeply steeped in MiddleWorld Mysteries as well as the guidance of Sri MoojiBaba.
