Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns this Friday, December 19th to Pt. Loma with opening class - Blindfolded Contact Improv guided by Ryan Foronda followed by Ecstatic Dance Journey set by Columbus Ohio Ecstatic Dance DJ ~ KofdropEcstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore and tap into your true expression.
Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space.

Kofdrop is an ecstatic dance DJ and event organizer based in Columbus, Ohio, where he currently serves as one of the resident DJs for Ecstatic Dance Columbus. Known for his deeply intentional sound journeys, Kofdrop crafts transformative musical landscapes that invite dancers to explore freedom, connection and self-expression.
His sets weave together a rich tapestry of sounds - flowing seamlessly through world, bass, Latin, melodic, tribal, organic, trap and beyond. With an intuitive ear for energy and timing, he guides dancers on a journey that awakens the body, expands the heart and elevates the spirit. Each experience becomes more than just a dance floor, it becomes a sacred container for release, renewal and collective joy.
Kofdrop has shared his artistry on stages across the United States, from national festivals such as Unison and Playthink to ecstatic dance communities in Boulder, Philadelphia, San Diego, Asheville and many more. Along the way, he has shared lineups with some of the most beloved names in the conscious music scene, including Mose, Liquid Bloom, Savej, Desert Dwellers, Equanimous, and Random Rab.
Whether in an intimate local gathering or under festival skies, a dance journey with Kofdrop is an invitation to let go of inhibition, reconnect with your essence and move in communion with rhythm. His music doesn’t just fill the room, it creates a field of possibility where body, mind and soul can align.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
4. No Shoes, No Booze
5. Please also refrain from photos, videos, strong scents/perfumes, glitter and shoes on the dance floor.
6. Touch is Sacred ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
