Wees welkom bij Danskapel Zwolle,Een prachtige plek waarin we jou uitnodigen om bij jouzelf thuis te komen door middel van dans, waarin ook je zintuigen geprikkeld worden.
Dat vanuit deze zintuigelijke ervaringen, je uitgenodigt wordt de ruimte om je heen te ¨voelen¨ waarin je door eigen perceptie je binnenwereld ook meer kunt gaan waarnemen.
Te mogen landen in je lichaam en vandaar te exploreren hoe jij jezelf in beweging zet, met jezelf op ontdekkingsreis te gaan en als dat zo voor jou voelt ook met een ander.
Een veilige setting waarin we uitgenodigd worden om onze grenzen aan te geven en ook zo de ander te zien en te respecteren.
- We dansen zonder het gebruik van verdovende middelen
- We dansen op blote voeten.
- We gebruiken geen woorden tijdens de dans, we spreken middels onze lichamen.
- Respecteer je eigen grens en die van een ander. ( Wees bewust van een ander zijn Ja of Nee)
Bij een Nee kun je het Namaste gebaar gebruiken.
- Geen telefoons in de zaal
- Dans hoe je wilt dansen, voel je vrij in je expressie.
Het lichaam is bezield en die bezieling komt tot uiting in al onze bewegingen, je lichaam spreekt, je lichaam wil gehoord worden en op deze avond mag je je lichaam verwelkomen om gehoor te geven aan wat zich in je lichaam afspeelt.
Hierin is ieder mens uniek, we nodigen jou uit om te zijn in jou uniciteit.
Te dansen met wat er in jou aanwezig is, dat het er mag zijn.
Kom ervaar, beleef, voel, speel, dans het moment, met jezelf en of een ander.

Jethro Rahajaan is a Dutch dancer and Ecstatic Dance DJ with a diverse background in various dance forms. He began his dance journey at the age of 13, starting with breakdancing, and was recognized as the most promising b-boy in the Netherlands a year later. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire to include popping, locking, house dance, hip-hop, contemporary dance, ballet, capoeira, tricking, tai chi, and qi gong. His extensive experience led him to teach at various dance schools across the Netherlands.
In 2015, Jethro discovered Ecstatic Dance at Club Lite and immediately connected with its philosophy. His passion and skills led him to become a ceremony leader at Ecstatic Dance events in Odessa and Amsterdam. By December 2020, he transitioned into the role of an Ecstatic Dance DJ, where he is known for creating epic and cinematic journeys with clear waves, allowing dancers to explore a range of movements and emotions.
Beyond his dance career, Jethro is also a meditation teacher who integrates mindfulness into his movement practices. He emphasizes anchoring individuals in their bodies during Ecstatic Dance ceremonies, workshops, and retreats. His DJ sets are crafted to resonate with the crowd, reading their energy to guide the musical journey.
Jethro has shared his insights on lucid dreaming and its influence on his dance in a TEDxYouth talk in Groningen. He also contributes to the Heart of Ecstatic Dance team, collaborating with other professionals to promote the practice.
For those interested in experiencing his musical journeys, Jethro regularly uploads his Ecstatic Dance sets to platforms like SoundCloud and Mixcloud. Notable mixes include his performances at the Boom Festival in July 2023 and the Ecstatic Dance Festival Holland in 2023.
