Ecstatic Dance Oban

ED is a form of free dance journey that leads to deep embodiment and soul deep joy. There is no teacher but there are guidelines to keep the space safe and joyful.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines

1. No talking. ED is a silent practice.
2. No shoes. Barefoot dancing helps us ground ourselves
3. No drugs/alcohol. ED is a conscious practice embracing mindfulness.
4. Phone-free zone. Encouraging safety & presence. Be here now.
5. Respect each other. We ask participants to take responsibility for themselves, but also to watch out for others and be mindful of their personal space. Consider your actions & how they can affect the space.
6. Stay dressed in tops & bottoms on for men and women alike.
7. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time

Format:

• Caoca
• Gentle opening of the space and reminder of guidelines
• Ecstatic dance set
• Gentle close of space
