We are happy to welcome you to a new edition of Ecstatic Dance Leuven. We dance every two weeks in De Spiegelzaal in Heverlee (Leuven)!*Wednesday April 8, 2026*
We herdenken/vieren dit jaar de opstart van Ecstatic Dance Leuven 10 jaar geleden, eerst georganiseerd door vzw Universa met Annemie Maes die eerst de dans hoste🙏 En vanaf 2019 onder onze eigen vzw Awakening Soul.
Al een hele reis en zo dankbaar om die vele bijzondere voedende, deugddoende dansen in al die jaren🙏🙏🙏
Voor deze gelegenheid gaan we vóór de dans eerst samen zingen onder begeleiding van "Aya". Dit is een leuk Leuvens gezelschap van heerlijke zangers en muzikanten die ons zullen begeleiden bij het zingen van fijne liederen en mantras.

We beginnen uitzonderlijk een uurtje vroeger hiervoor! We kijken er naar uit met jullie allemaal al zingend die reis naar ons hart te maken🙏❤
Moest dit echter niet lukken voor je, koop dan liefst je ticketje op voorhand (online), en sluit stilletjes aan om 19u30 als we met de dansceremonie starten🙏
Aya's Singing Circle: Simple sing-along songs and mantras straight from the source. Singing together brings us closer to our hearts and bodies.

▬▬ ★ WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE? ★ ▬
A unique dance experience, guided by music and sounds. We go on exploration, dare to be vulnerable and gently push our boundaries.
There are three simple basic guidelines to ED: "No shoes. No booze. No chitchat." So we come together connecting our bare feet to the earth, purely communicating through our bodies, and celebrating life in all its aspects!
We welcome you exactly as you are now! So you are entirely free to follow your own needs during the dance.
Each ED starts and ends with a ceremony in which we make time and space to connect with ourselves, the others, the space, the vibrations, our intentions and the larger ED tribe. This opening is guided, and leads you into the dance.
The concept of ED arose about 30 years ago in Hawaii and California, went around the world and has grown extensively over the years, weekly touching many hearts and bodies all over the world.

Er is de keuze uit 2 parkings:
1. de parking van HHH (Heilig Hart Instituut Heverlee) via de Hertogstraat 178:
Achter kinderdagverblijf ‘Het Wit Konijntje’ rechts inrijden.
Dan de trapjes af, speelplaats lagere school HHH oversteken en dan het wegje links nemen richting de boerderij.
Op het einde van de weg ligt de spiegelzaal op je linkerkant.
2. Parking via de Naamsesteenweg 355, als je op het domein rijdt, kan je meteen rechts parkeren, en naar de boerderij wandelen (zie kaartje).
There are 2 options to park your car:
1. If you want to use the HHH (Heilig Hart Instituut Heverlee) parking lot via the Hertogstraat 178:
Turn right behind daycare center 'Het Wit Konijntje'.
Then go down the stairs, cross the playground HHH primary school and then take the small road to the left towards the farm.
At the end of the road, the 'Spiegelzaal' is on your left.
2. Take the Naamsesteenweg 355. When you enter the school, you will find a parking on your right side. From there you walk to the farm (see map).
