We are happy to welcome you to a new edition of Ecstatic Dance Leuven. From september 2026 we dance every week in De Spiegelzaal in Heverlee (Leuven)!

Johannes Siemann: Live Music Set
Johannes is al bijna zijn hele leven op verschillende manieren bezig met muziek. Is het als soloartiest is, in een groep, of als ondersteunend muzikant – hij speelt en geniet van diverse instrumenten vanuit de hele wereld. Van didgeridoo tot gitaar, wereldpercussie, fluiten en zang.
Met deze instrumenten begeleidt hij ceremonies, ademwerk, meditaties, sound journeys, zangcirkels en dans.
Zijn eigen project noemt 'Inner-Rhythms' en is een koepel voor Beweging & Adem & Ceremonies. Groepsevents die uitnodigen tot vertraging, belichaming en verbinding.
“Voor mij is vertragen en de stilte tussen de klanken eren de basis van goede live muziek. Vanuit daar kan alles ontstaan.”
In Leuven gaat hij een Ecstatic Dance brengen helemaal vanuit zijn eigen insteek.
Live gebracht met Loopstation en een brede mengeling van instrumenten en beats.
Golven van vertraging doormengt met speelsheid, ritme en plezier.
En van daar uit een reis samen te beleven doorheen klank, lichaam en ontmoeting met onszelf en de ander.

▬▬ ★ WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE? ★ ▬
A unique dance experience, guided by music and sounds. We go on exploration, dare to be vulnerable and gently push our boundaries.
There are three simple basic guidelines to ED: "No shoes. No booze. No chitchat." So we come together connecting our bare feet to the earth, purely communicating through our bodies, and celebrating life in all its aspects!
We welcome you exactly as you are now! So you are entirely free to follow your own needs during the dance.
Each ED starts and ends with a ceremony in which we make time and space to connect with ourselves, the others, the space, the vibrations, our intentions and the larger ED tribe. This opening is guided, and leads you into the dance.
The concept of ED arose about 30 years ago in Hawaii and California, went around the world and has grown extensively over the years, weekly touching many hearts and bodies all over the world.

Er is de keuze uit 2 parkings:
1. de parking van HHH (Heilig Hart Instituut Heverlee) via de Hertogstraat 178:
Achter kinderdagverblijf ‘Het Wit Konijntje’ rechts inrijden.
Dan de trapjes af, speelplaats lagere school HHH oversteken en dan het wegje links nemen richting de boerderij.
Op het einde van de weg ligt de spiegelzaal op je linkerkant.
2. Parking via de Naamsesteenweg 355, als je op het domein rijdt, kan je meteen rechts parkeren, en naar de boerderij wandelen (zie kaartje).
There are 2 options to park your car:
1. If you want to use the HHH (Heilig Hart Instituut Heverlee) parking lot via the Hertogstraat 178:
Turn right behind daycare center 'Het Wit Konijntje'.
Then go down the stairs, cross the playground HHH primary school and then take the small road to the left towards the farm.
At the end of the road, the 'Spiegelzaal' is on your left.
2. Take the Naamsesteenweg 355. When you enter the school, you will find a parking on your right side. From there you walk to the farm (see map).
