Namaskaram and welcome to a night of celebration with ecstatic dance! 🙏🥳💫
In the south Indian culture, there is a festival celebrated each autumn called Navratri (Nine nights). This festival is dedicated to the divine feminine or Devi and her struggle against chaotic forces that was about to upturn the whole of creation. This 1st of october is the last of these nine nights and signifies Vijayadashami, Devi's complete victory over chaos.
This is an evening where being open to the feminine nature of existence is very beneficial. To be loving, to be playful, to celebrate life, dance, arts and all that brings us beauty makes us receptible to this aspect of creation. This can also lead to a more fulfilling life both for ourselves and for people around us.
So let's gather and dance our hearts out in celebration of life, of music and of the divine feminine. ❤️✨
Practicalities:
We recommend that you wear loose and comfortable clothing.
Bring a yoga mat or a blanket if you want.
Please do not eat a heavy meal just before the dance.
There will be fruits, simple snacks and some drinks available.
Doors open at 19:00 and close at 19:15.
There will be an opening circle with some information and a closing circle with sharing.
