You are warmly invited to join us at Soul Wellness Hub on the first Friday of every month for an evening of dancing, expression, expansion and coming home to your body! We weave an evening of magic, combining Cacao, breathwork, shaking, dancing & sound healing so that you may experience unity of mind, body and spirit, coming home to yourself.✨ What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform meditative movement practice that invites us to express ourselves through uninhibited, spontaneous movement. Unlike structured dance forms, there are no set steps or choreography in ecstatic dance, so you don't need to know how to dance! We move to the rhythm of the music in a way that feels natural and authentic to each of us in our own unique ways, following what feels good, rather than what looks good. It's a space free from judgement, where the body becomes the canvas for self-expression, and every movement tells a unique story of who we are.

✨What To Expect?
🌀A container free of judgement, a space where all of you is welcome, accepted and celebrated!
🌀A warm cup of Cacao
🌀A guided warm up that includes breathwork, shaking and mind-body centering so you can gently ease into the dance experience.
🌀75 mins of Ecstatic Dance Wave, with DJ Rae or DJ Shakti Rhythms on the decks - curating a live DJ set to deepen connection with you mind, body and soul
🌀15 mins of Sound Healing relaxation, accompanied by crystal bowls and chimes. A nourishing way to integrate the experience.
✨About your Facilitators:
Rae and Raquel have been curating and offering Ecstatic Dance journeys for the last 4 years, weekly, at Sundance Manchester, and now monthly for the last year in the Calder valley at Soul Wellness Hub and also at various festivals and retreats. We are passionate about offering dance experiences for wellbeing, self-expression, and creative inspiration! We are really excited to bring this practice to the valley!

£18 Standard, some concession tickets available for £15
You can also just turn up and pay on the door. Tickets on the door will be £18. Drop a message to book to ensure you have a space.
✨TIMINGS:
Doors open at 6.10pm and close at 6.30pm. Due to the nature of the container and to create safety amongst attendees, after 6.30pm, no one will be allowed in. Please plan your trip accordingly. We have a lovely cafe where you can hang out, if you do arrive early. This is essential to keep a safe container for the group. The event will finish at 9pm.
✨Terms & Conditions of the Ticket:
This event is non-refundable
You may transfer your ticket to a future event if you let us know at least 24hrs in advance if you can’t make it.
No refunds or transfers would be issued for late arrivals after doors close.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances preventing us from running the event, a refund would be issued.
