ED Arnhem invites you to the beautiful, pure and sacret space of the Church Schaarsbergen with different DJ‘s to a sublime music- and dance-journey connecting you to your creative space of inner inspiration, intuition and freedom. You feel, move and let the rhythm become your ritual.

ABOUT DJ MARTYN ZIJ
For Martyn one of the reasons to find his passion for deejay-ing was the discovery of Ecstatic Dance. Suddenly it became clear that all the music Martyn loves so much easily can come together in a set for this special phenomenon. At the end of 2013 Martyn became and is still one of the resident-deejays of Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam. From then on Martyn also got invited by diverse Ecstatic Dance Tribes in Netherlands and Europe. He loves to share the music, the dance and the joy with these communities and gets inspired by the different vibes of the unique happening every Ecstatic Dance is.
After a few years deejaying Martyn started to combine his skills as a producer/musician with his experience as a deejay. He uses his studioskills to remix and rework different music from all of the world so they become “dance floor” friendly and he can include them in his deejay-sets. Next to these remixes he is also working on his own compositions and songs to spread and share his unique deep funky and heartwarming sound all over the world.

As soon as you enter the space you become a co-creater of a culture of support, inclusion and trust looking for consent and care where we look out for each other. Ecstatic Dance Arnhem works without expectations and judgement. Our focus is on the music journey so that you dance your happy feat, sweating and unleashing the magic you are born to be.
We dance in connection with our self or invite each other to dance together. Our team of volunteers values consciousness, connection, inclusion and light-heartedness. Creating and holding a safe space we welcome you on our dance floor where every body is welcome – sober, silent and without the distraction of your phone.
If you love to move and get unstuck our beautiful underfloor heated church dance-floor is waiting for you in a sacret pure space where you let the rhythm become your ritual.

OTHER PRACTICAL TIPS
- Please be on time at 19:30 or 20:00.
- Come in easy-fitting clothes and, if necessary, bring a dry shirt and/or towel.
- Bring your own water bottle and do not forget to take it home after the dance.
- Beyond our guidelines, attending the meeting is at your own risk. We therefore want to keep the responsibility with the participants. We assume that everyone can judge for themselves whether to participate responsibly or whether they belong to any "risk group".
- We trust that all participants have read the above guidelines and will handle them carefully with respect for themselves and others.
