Ecstatic Dance & Movement Medicine ® Huddersfield

At its core, Movement Medicine is about reclaiming the body's natural ability to heal and transform. It provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to express themselves authentically, release tension, and cultivate a sense of freedom and joy. Whether used for personal growth, trauma recovery, or simply as a way to enhance well-being, Movement Medicine offers a unique pathway to holistic healing.

The session will be faciliated by Dr. Kirran Ahmad aka ‘The Dance Doctor,’ an NHS doctor who transitioned from nearly two decades in medicine to focus on holistic healing through Movement Medicine.

Kirran now channels her passion for healing into supporting individuals as well as healthcare professionals and marginalised communities through the transformative power of movement. She believes deeply in the connection between body, mind, and spirit, guiding others to discover balance, freedom, and reconnection.
