About this Event

I will be offering an Ecstatic Awakening Dance Session within Perth Yoga Studio's unique, oval-shaped Space.
Saturday nights's Theme is "The Mirror Pool" aswell as a water-themed soundscape, the studio will also be filled with gentle water colours.
This class is a welcome space for everyone - those new to free-from movement, movement as medicine, or concious dance - and anyone with experience in yoga, free-form dance methods like ecstatic dance, 5 Rhythms, shamanic trance dance, etc - all are welcome!

Ecstatic Awakening Dance is joyous, freeing movement - there's no right or wrong way to move because the movement isn't controled by the over-thinking dictatorship of your mind. It comes from breath, rhythm and the instintive expression of your own body as you progressivley reconnect to it once more.

What is the EAD Method?
It's a method of movement without words, mainly done with the eyes gently closed as you are guided through its 5 phases and given space to explore and transform.
