Activate Your Campus for Outdoor Learning with EcoRiseExpand student learning beyond the four walls of the classroom and into your school's outdoor spaces! 6 hrs. of CEU credit or GT credit will be awarded.

Join this fast-paced and engaging session from EcoRise to learn how. Turn the outdoors into a place-based, living laboratory for student well-being and engagement. Use Student Innovation Projects and student-led classroom grants to activate your campus community for outdoor learning and build a more sustainable future for your school.

Participating teachers will receive training on and access to the Sustainable Intelligence curriculum and will walk through specific, hands-on, real world lessons related to engaging students in their environment. Activities will help teachers connect student learning to and take action on their campus. They will then explore design thinking activities to guide their students to think creatively about solutions and inspire them to get involved in their environment.

This session is for K-12 teachers in local districts. It is made possible through support from the All Points North Foundation and HEB Grocery.
