About this Event
Join us for a hands-on, family-friendly day that celebrates how everyday discarded materials can be transformed into shared resources, art, and opportunity. From food scrap cooking demos to clothing swaps and creative reuse workshops, EcoLoop connects residents to practical, joyful ways to reduce waste and build a more sustainable Baltimore.
Come learn, play, fix, taste, swap, and connect with organizations working across the city to help us rethink waste because when we close the loop, we all win.
What’s Happening:
- Food Scrap Cooking Demo: Creative ways to make the most of every bite.
- Mending Clinic with Station North Tool Library: Work with fixers to bring your fabrics back to life (small rips, holes, hems, missing buttons, and zippers). Doors close at 1 pm.
- Compost Workshops: Discover how to turn food scraps into rich soil.
- Smoothie Bike: Pedal power meets food rescue!
- Clothing Swap: Refresh your wardrobe sustainably - bring clean, gently used clothes to trade or find something new-to-you.
