11am Eco-Voices: Amazing Mangroves with Drew Martin, John Pennekamp Coral Reef Stare Park
Amazing Mangroves will detail ways to identify the three native species of mangroves found in the Florida Keys and explore their many unique roles that make them stand out among other trees.
(Presentation is open to the general public - Highly Recommended for the Registered Art Students)

1-4:30pm While mangroves are essential to Florida's ecology, learning to see shape is essential to drawing! Learn to see and draw mangrove trees. Participants will use line and shape to draw mangroves, then add a touch of color with watercolor washes. All materials are supplied. Lead by Artist Monica Bankowski. Max registration 20 students.
