Maybe you've always wanted to make your own? This is the perfect workshop for you, we'll teach you how to create your own custom homewares, using an eco-resin called Jesmonite.
In this House of Hobby workshop, our expert Gemma will teach you all about the art of casting using Jesmonite, an eco-friendly material that sets to form a lightweight and durable material. You will be guided through the entire process and a range of techniques to inspire your very own tray. We will have a range of pigments for you to customise your tray colours to suit your style.
This workshop is perfect for beginners who are looking to try their hand at resin & casting.
What this workshop includes:
- All materials, pigments, and equipment required to make your tray. We will provide casting moulds for you to use on the day.
- Tips and tricks about where to buy different moulds and Jesmonite and how to continue creating at home
- Prosecco on arrival & refreshments throughout
- Afternoon nibbles to enjoy during the session
What to bring:
This hobby is wonderfully messy! So be sure to wear some old clothes and covered shoes. If you have an old apron, feel free to bring it along with you. We will have some in case you need one on the day.
