Eco-Grief, Habitat Loss, and Moving Forward through the Arts, Sciences, and Activism: An Interdisciplinary Panel — Thursday, 11/6 @ 3:30pm-5pm

The panel will discuss the impact of habitat loss, eco-grief, and ways to bring about a hopeful future. All prompts will be provided by students in select courses and student organizations. This program begins with free-looking in the Museum and moves to Horn Center Lecture Hall 100 for the discussion.

Panelists:

• Coryn Bray (moderator), Environmental Science & Policy student and Sustainability Fellow
• Dr. George Hart, Department Chair of English Literature (Ecocriticism)
• Dr. Kelly Stewart [Gabrieliño-Tongva/Payómkawish (Luiseño)], Assistant Professor in American Indian Studies (Indigenous Philosophies of Sustainability), UCLA Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow.
• Dr. Lily House Peters, Director of Environmental Science & Policy (Environmental Sustainability)
• Paige Emery, an ecological artist and herbalist exploring rituals of remembering the Earth.
