Use color washes made from spring flowers and food scraps to create "living art" that changes over time!
About this Event
  • Looking for a relaxing evening out?
  • Want to play and stretch your creative boundaries?
  • Looking for eco-friendly alternatives to acrylic paint? (See the FAQ section)
  • Rethinking your relationship with Big Craft?

Our Bold Belief Builder, Kim Moldofsky, will share a short, hands-on introduction to making homemade watercolor washes (these are not technically paints).

Then, we’ll dive into creative warm-ups and open-ended experimentation—mix water, colorful washes, add a touch of kitchen chemistry, and watch your artwork transform right before your eyes.

The art you create will be as lively and empheral as the spring flowers used to make the washes. The colors will suprise you as they shift and fade in fascinating ways.

We'll provide the "paints", brushes, markers, paper, and encouragement--everything you need to let your creativity blossom!

Bring a small glass jar or two if you'd like to take a sample home.
