About this Event
Our eco crafting sessions are a great way to share skills and ideas on all things sustainable living. Learn something new and share tips with your local community!
Every session, we'll have a drop-in clothes repair table, as well as a craft of the week. Bring along your clothes to repair and we'll have a few supplies you can use to mend them, such as via darning, patching or sewing (note hand sewing only).
Feb 24th: DIY Self Care. We'll share some plastic-free swaps on all things self-care and make a sample moisturising balm and home made deodarant.
March 3rd: Simple Macrame. Learn about the benefits of indoor house plants and make a simple macrame hanger for them! **PLANT SWAP** If you have any spare indoor house plant cuttings to propogate that you're happy to swap at the workshop, please bring along!!
March 10th: Darning and Mending: Want to learn how to darn? Bring a holey sock or jumper and learn how to repair your clothes.
March 17th: Darning and Mending plus: To mark International's Women's Day on the 8th March, we'll be holding an Environmenstrual workshop. We'll show you the different reusable period products on the market and talk through how to use them.
March 24th: Darning and Mending drop in plus: Upcycle containers for an indoor mini herb planter.
Easter Break March 31st & April 7th: No sessions

A light plant-based meal will be available and you're welcome to bring something to share if you like. Please book a spot, so we can prepare for the number of attendees.
