About this Event
Eco Cinema Night at Green Light Cinema 🎬🌱
Join St. Pete Eco Club for a special Eco Cinema Night at Green Light Cinema, in partnership with the Sierra Club. This evening brings our community together to experience powerful environmental storytelling through film, followed by meaningful conversation.
We’ll be screening two compelling documentaries from National Geographic:
Little Brown Bird
A visually stunning short film that explores the fragile relationship between wildlife, habitat, and human development. Through the story of a small bird with a big journey, the film highlights how environmental change impacts even the most resilient species.
Florida Bear Tracks
An intimate look at Florida’s black bears and the conservationists working to protect them. The film examines habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and what it takes to ensure a future where bears and people can coexist.
Following the screenings, stay for a panel discussion featuring:
- KT Bryden
- Alex Freeze
The conversation will be moderated by Dominic Medina, offering insight into the filmmaking process, Florida wildlife conservation, and how local action connects to global environmental stories.
✨ Light refreshments will be provided.
Tickets are $10 if purchased through this link and $12 at the door. If this link sells out, no worries! Come to the event and we should have space for you via the venue. First come first serve at the door.
This event is perfect for film lovers, environmental advocates, and anyone curious about Florida’s natural world. Come watch, listen, and be part of the conversation.
