ECMAA: Fall Views Hike in Cold Spring (Nov 8)

Join ECMAA for a day of adventure and exploration along the beautiful trails in Cold Spring, NY. Get ready to immerse yourself in nature, hike scenic trails, and discover hidden gems. Our hike starts on Sat Nov 8 at 9:30 AM at Grand Central Terminal.

Schedule:

• 9:30AM: Meet at Grand Central Station main concurse near the information desk to catch the Metro-North train
• 10:07 AM: Metro North Train makes a stop at Harlem - 125 St Station (intersection of E 125th St and Park Ave)
• 11:15 AM: Metro North Train Arrival at Cold Spring Station
• 11:45AM - 4PM: Estimated Hiking Adventure
• 4:20PM/5:24PM/6:24PM: Depart Cold Spring Station via Metro North

For anyone driving, please meet us at the Bull Parking Lot at 3011 NY-9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516, by 11:45 AM. Parking fills up quickly, so plan accordingly!

Bathrooms are available on the Metro-North train, and portable restrooms will be at the trailhead. We will most likely hike the Bull Hill Full Loop, a 6.5-mile trail that takes about 3 to 4 hours, featuring a mix of uphill terrain and stunning views of the Hudson River and surrounding mountains. Hiking paths may be adjusted based on the group's needs. Get ready for an amazing day in nature!

Necessary Gear:

• Sturdy hiking boots or shoes
• Water (at least 2 liters)
• Snacks and/or a packed lunch
• Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
• Sunscreen and a hat
