Celebrating 50 years of artist residencies, Brandywine Workshop and Archives (BWA) has stood as a beacon for creativity, collaboration, and cross-cultural exchange, fostering a vibrant community of artists and master printers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of printmaking. Since its founding in 1972, BWA has served as a sacred space where innovation meets tradition, offering artists the opportunity to explore, experiment, and expand their practices in an atmosphere of mutual respect and artistic discovery.

This exhibition, Echoes and Intersections, celebrates BWA’s enduring legacy by highlighting the remarkable work of artists who have graced its residency program. Featuring contributions from Cyd Carpenter, Calo Rosa, Maya Freelon, Xenobia Bailey, Andrea Packard, and others, the exhibition reflects the power of collaboration and the richness of shared artistic journeys.
