In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, our library proposes “Echoes of Vietnam: Voices, Honor, and Help” — a two-part community initiative honoring Vietnam veterans through storytelling, public remembrance, and connection to vital local resources. This November, our library will create a multimedia oral history exhibit featuring stories from local veterans, paired with a community-wide Veterans Resource & Remembrance Fair that offers support and services to those who served.
This project preserves the past while serving the present, bringing our community together across generations and county lines.
