ECHOES OF TRANSFORMATION - Rees Webster (Oboe) & Friends. Music + Art Series in The Buxton Fringe Festival: two performances!Themselves transformed through re-telling and re-interpretation, Ovid’s Metamorphoses have inspired countless reactions since they were written over 2000 years ago. In a performance featuring music inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses, poetry readings and live improvisation, explore how the meaning of these tales endures in many musical and poetic re-imaginings.
