Film Cheltenham Festival presents The film Orchestra (TfO) with an evening of Oscar-winning and Oscar nominated film music where the best of cinema meets the grandeur of live orchestral music. The programme will feature iconic soundtracks and compositions from some of the most beloved and celebrated films – many that have helped to define the history of film. Among the composers to be featured are John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer; their music will be performed by TfO in the heart of Cheltenham.‘Echoes of The Oscars’ is part of the festival’s new music strand, exemplified by our dedication to celebrating the art of filmmaking in all of its forms.
