About this Event
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Johnson House Historic Site invites you to experience Echoes of Liberation: Her Voice, Her Legacy, a powerful immersive tour centering the voices of women in the struggle for freedom.
This special program features Voices of Philadelphia, a spiritual a cappella ensemble whose vocal selections are woven throughout guided tours of the historic house. Through sound, song, and storytelling, the experience amplifies the resilience, wisdom, and leadership of women—freedom seekers, abolitionists, caretakers, and strategists—whose contributions shaped liberation movements in Philadelphia and beyond.
As visitors move through the Johnson House, music and history come together to create a living, reflective experience that honors women’s voices too often left unheard.
