Hey Hikers! What better way to celebrate 2025 than with seeing some jaw-dropping, blockbuster, absolutely amazing scenery that the Lord has provided! We will be hiking to Raven Cliff Falls off of Richard Russell Scenic Highway. It is one of North Georgia’s premiere and most spectacular hiking trails.
Join us for a day of awe-inspiring scenery, good exercise and great fellowship as we get out and explore God’s incredible creation.
WEATHER PERMITTING: showers, it's off.
TIME: 10am to 2:30pm (ish) with late lunch.
HIKE DIFFICULTY: D3+, (Total 5.2-mile hike)
Hiking Rating Scale:
D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous, some steep with rock hopping!
ADDRESS: Search Raven Cliff Falls Trailhead on your GPS. (It’s near mile-marker 3 on Richard Russell Scenic Hwy. Approximately 1-mile past Dukes Creek Falls)
PARKING FEE: $5/vehicle (cash only – no card accepted)
DEVOTIONAL: We will do a short devotional at the falls.
LATE LUNCH: Mexican at El Campesino – 17 Campbell St Cleveland, GA 30528
WHAT TO BRING: Make sure to dress in layers, camera, water, snacks etc.
*NOTE: TRAIL COULD BE MUDDY SO PLEASE HAVE GOOD TREAD on your shoes/boots or you will be on the ground a lot! Maybe bring 2 pairs of shoes if 1 gets wet*

PLEASE NOTE: This is a single adult only event. Also, please do not bring pets or animals.
KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained or non-existent, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
WAIVER: By attending, each person assumes all responsibility and liability for themselves and their actions and hereby releases Echo Ministries, its employees, directors, officers, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability resulting from any loss, injury, illness, damages, or death, while attending, participating or volunteering in this event. Make sure that anyone you invite receives this information and understands and agrees to all aspects of it, otherwise you’re responsible for them.
