The Canadian Bandurist Capella is a premier musical ensemble which has performed throughout North America. The music of the kobzars and choral singing are core elements of Ukraine's musical history and culture. They were the seeds that inspired the formation of this ensemble 25 years ago.
To celebrate our 25th anniversary, the Capella is currently touring Eastern Canada and Quebec. Five concerts across four provinces will feature highlights of our varied repertoire from the beginning to the most modern. We will feature the bandura (Ukraine’s national instrument) to accompany the Capella’s male chorus.
