Echo Collective ist ein Ensemble klassisch ausgebildeter Musiker*innen aus Brüssel, das von Margaret Hermant und Neil Leiter gegründet wurde. Neben ihren eigenen Kompositionen und Projekten arbeitet die Gruppe mit modernen Komponist*innen und Bands zusammen. Ihr Repertoire umfasst Konzerten, Tourneen, Filmmusik, Aufnahmesessions und Originalkompositionen. Ihr neustes Album Mirror Image (2024) taucht in zeitgenössische und experimentelle klassische Musik ein und verschmilzt mit fesselnden Klanglandschaften. Aufgenommen in verschiedenen akustischen Räumen, darunter historische Orte in Italien und Belgien, erforscht das Album akustische Forschungen in immersiven Umgebungen wie 4DSound in Berlin und DNB Soundscape in Belgien. Inspiriert von neuen technologischen Werkzeugen reflektiert Mirror Image die musikalische Verbindung und künstlerische Identität von Margaret und Neil und verbindet dabei traditionelle und innovative Elemente.
