Join Every Chapter Counts for a full-day community film festival exploring American history, identity, and civic life through the lens of The 1619 Project.
This free event features six curated video chapters (approximately 30 minutes each), paired with local speakers from the Cedar Valley who will reflect on how each theme connects directly to our region and lived experience.
Chapters include:
• Democracy
• Race
• Capitalism
• Music
• Fear
• Justice
Each chapter includes:
• A short film screening
• A recorded or local speaker reflection
• Time to listen, reflect, and learn
Admission is free — and includes free entry to the Grout Museum District for the day.
Come for one chapter or stay for the full experience.
