Ebb & Flow Walks series for the Harford Centre group

Join us on a series of eight guided

walks – broadly following the River

Thames through the East End – from

the Tower of London to Canning Town.

Each week we’ll explore a different

neighbourhood – such as Wapping,

Limehouse, the Isle of Dogs, or

Blackwall – and take a closer look at

local landmarks. Along the way, we’ll

share stories and see how the river has

helped shape the East End over the

years.

Each walk starts where the last one left

off, so over the weeks we’ll cover a

‘mini-trail’ through Tower Hamlets.

However well you know the borough,

you’re sure to make new connections

and discover something new.
