This is not your typical cooking class! Lin Conover of Wood Song Mushrooms will share why we should eat more mushrooms, how to prepare them and some tasty, clever ways to get more mushrooms in your diet. Bring your adventurous tastebuds as we sample Lion’s Mane and Oyster mushrooms.
Lin Conover, owner of Wood Song Mushrooms, LLC, first began learning about mushrooms through a deep dive into soil health and composting methods. With an appreciation for the integral role fungus has for our living planet, she began the process of identifying wild species and growing cultivated mushrooms. Wood Song Mushrooms now provides fresh mushrooms and related products, in addition to educational programs, nature/foraging walks and hands-on experiences.
