Eastwood Events presents: 'Live Music & Gaza Fundraiser' on Thursday 27th February 2025, held at Prince Albert, Brighton.
For the evening, we will have a wonderful lineup including; The Blue Dive, Izzy Adams, Alice Geary & Friend Of Franky.
Our goal for the evening is to raise £100 for MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians). Live music 8-11pm. About our acts...
The Blue Dive: ' "Ambient folk music with a kick" Eva and The Blue Dive write original acoustic songs, lyrics of heartfelt sincerity and engaging emotional soundscapes. Drawing comparisons from Jeff Buckley, Anna Calvin and Laura Marling but BBC Introducing describes her as psychedelic folk, listening Trim's vocals to Neo and Bjork.' @the_blue_dive
Izzy Adams: 'You a call me Izzy/Isabelle/celestial being etc. I write songs about the way the waves make me question everything (sea waves, brain waves, sound waves and more of the same). Music is the language of the universe and I hope to be fluent in it. Did you that plants can also make music.' @izzyadamsofficial
Alice Geary: Alice Geary is a Brighton-based singer-songwriter whose music draws inspiration from artist like Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters and Nieve Ella. Her unique sound blends soulful tones with heartbreak anthem lyrics, creating a distinctive style in the Pop/Indie Pop scene. @Alice_geary_
Friend Of Franky: 'Based in Brighton, the band is made up of Kit Madge (vocals), Anna Rees (lead guitar and backing vocals), Viv Maher (bass) and Phil Shamrock (drums). Indie, rocky and full of genre-bending riffs, Friend Of Franky's music is characterised by their emotionally vulnerable songwriting. It's music for people inclined to snoop in drawers and read diaries (if diaries had reverb). If a gig was sitting on the floor of your queer best friend's bedroom, while they overshare abut another relationship-turne-identity-crisis, this would be it.' @friendoffranky
