Come be a part of the region's ecstatic dance community by joining us at our Friday, August 1 Eastside Conscious Dance ecstatic dance event. The music for the event will be funk and rhythm and blues as opposed to traditional ecstatic dance percussive, instrumental world music.Ecstatic dance is a wonderful freeform type of dance where people gather in a dance studio room, have an opening circle, dance however they want to dance alone and with each other (as desired) for 1-1.5 hours with no steps, no teacher, and no judgment to great music! It ends with a closing circle and a chance for people to socialize.
