Historic Machpelah Presbyterian Church, built in 1848, is only open for worship once a year. The Easter sunrise celebration is a long standing tradition since the church closed in the 1970s, often supported by local Presbyterian pastors and churches. The doors will be open to celebrate resurrection Sunday once again this year. The service begins before sunlight arrives. The congregation are invited to participate by holding candles as we worship together until the light pours in through the windows. Pastor Reed Conley of Artisan Church will deliver the sermon. Music will be led by Rick and Myra Ramsuer and Jan Duncan. All are welcome.
