Early on the first day of the week, the women who followed Jesus came to the tomb and discovered it empty. The angel told them, “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” (Matthew 28:6)
Easter reminds us that death does not get the final word. Through the resurrection of Jesus, God brings forgiveness, restoration, and new life.
